Spaulding Academy & Family Services Unveils New Adaptive Playground

Spaulding Academy & Family Services recently held the grand opening of its state-of-the-art adaptive playground. This momentous occasion was celebrated with a ribbon cutting ceremony with the Lakes Region Chamber, marking a significant milestone for inclusive play opportunities in New England. Event attendees enjoyed fresh tacos and treats from food trucks, interacted with local fire departments who brought their trucks, savored lemonade from a student-run lemonade stand, received face painting, and more.

Spaulding Academy & Family Services Welcomes Two to Board of Directors

Spaulding Academy & Family Services is pleased to announce Cathy Cullity and Charles Lloyd have joined its board of directors.

Cullity always had an interest in Spaulding and loved the concept of a school that provides unique learning experiences with equal opportunities for all children. After spending 23 years as Chief Executive Officer at Girls Incorporated of New Hampshire (Girls Inc.), she is well equipped with the skills required to drive growth and raise funds for the organization through connections in New Hampshire and beyond all while keeping a keen focus on the mission to serve children and families. She’s received numerous recognitions for her unique accomplishments including the Top 6 Women in Business for NH (2015), BIA NH Advantage Award (2017), and Eastern Bank Community Advocacy Award (2018).

Multicultural Celebration

Spaulding Academy & Family Services, located in Northfield, recently hosted its much-anticipated annual Multicultural Tradition Celebration. The event provided students with a unique platform to explore and express the rich tapestry of cultures from around the world. Through captivating performances including singing, dancing, and more, the students showcased their research on diverse customs and traditions. Spaulding Academy & Family Services continues to foster an inclusive and creative environment for its students, encouraging them to embrace cultural diversity.

Science Fair

Each April, Spaulding Academy & Family Services hosts the Science Fair, where students at Spaulding Academy can come together and showcase their scientific skills with unique experiments. The children put hard work into preparing their science projects this year, then had the opportunity to present their findings to family and friends at this joyous event on April 12, 2023.
