Miss Lakes Region Outstanding Teen and members of the Manchester Harley Owners’ Group Chapter 1294 celebrate Christmas with students at Spaulding Youth Center

The annual Happy Holly Harley Holiday Party for students at Spaulding Youth Center was a merry celebration. Along with Santa and his elves, Kenya Welch, Miss Lakes Region Outstanding Teen and members of the Manchester Harley Owners’ Group Chapter 1294, joined the festivities. Students, staff and friends enjoyed a sumptuous party buffet and enjoyed listening to the musical sounds of the season while the younger set visited with Santa.
There were mounds of presents delivered by elves from the Plymouth State University Angel Tree Project and the Manchester Harley Owners’ Group. The children and youth who range in age from six years to 20 at Spaulding were delighted to receive gifts from their personal wish lists. As one student unwrapped a gift he exclaimed, “Santa did good!” and ran off to his room to play CDs with his new boom box.
Spaulding Youth Center CEO and President Susan Calegari thanked the Manchester Harley Owners’ Group and the Angel Tree Project committee members at Plymouth State University for their many years of fulfilling students’ wish lists. “With your holiday assistance you are giving students at Spaulding a joyful Christmas. Thank you for your friendship and support.”
Spaulding Youth Center leverages professional expertise to help young people with autism or other developmental and/or behavioral challenges learn the academic and life skills needed to be successful in their homes, schools and communities.
