The Health Services team at Spaulding Academy & Family Services has a full time opportunity available for Saturday & Sunday, 6:00am to 9:00pm. This position qualifies for full time benefits. We also have per diem opportunities available as well.
Spaulding is a leading provider of educational, residential, therapeutic and community based programs and services for families, and children and youth with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning or developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. Our campus is located on over 500 acres in Northfield, NH and welcomes boys and girls from ages 4 to 21 from around the state of New Hampshire and beyond.
Our Health Services department is vital to the overall well-being of our students, their families and our staff. Duties will include:
- medication administration and monitoring
- assessments for illness and general first aid,
- and lots of temperature checks
- education to students and their families and our staff
- Shared on-call responsibilities amongst the Health Services team
- an active New Hampshire RN or LPN license
- experience with pediatric/psychiatric and neurobehavioral concerns is helpful
- previous experience working in an academic setting, long-term care or a pediatric medical setting is beneficial
