August 21, 2023LPN/RN ~ Spaulding Academy & Family Services has a wonderful opportunity with our Health Services team! If you are looking to work with exceptional students in a spectacular setting, we have a great full-time opportunity. We have three shifts available:
- RN/LPN Overnight 9p-7a
- RN/LPN Weekend 6a – 9p (30 hours – Full Time)
- RN/LPN Per Diem
Spaulding is located in Northfield, NH, just off Exit 19 on I-93. We are a leading provider of educational, residential, therapeutic and community-based programs and services for families, and children and youth with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning or developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. We welcome boys and girls from ages 4 to 21 from around the state of New Hampshire and beyond.
Our Health Services department is vital to the overall well-being of our students, their families and our staff. Duties will include:
- medication administration and monitoring
- assessments for illness and general first aid,
- and lots of temperature checks
- education to students and their families and our staff
- shared on-call responsibilities amongst the Health Services team
Requirements are:
- an active New Hampshire RN or LPN license
- experience with pediatric/psychiatric and neurobehavioral concerns is helpful
- previous experience working in an academic setting, long-term care or a pediatric medical setting is beneficial, but not required
