Our Clinical team has full-time opportunities available for Clinicians.

As a leading provider of educational, residential, therapeutic, and foster care programs, our campus provides a safe, supportive and intensely therapeutic environment for our students who range from 4 to 21.  Students present with neurological impairments that include autism, intellectual disabilities, emotional disorders; and behavioral challenges of those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse, or neglect.

Our goal is to help our kids discover a love of learning while also gaining study, social and emotional, independent living, and vocational skills.

Clinician responsibilities include:

  • Assessing treatment needs,
  • Developing, monitoring and evaluating treatment plans,
  • Providing individual and group therapy to youth and families in residential treatment care.
  • Partner with Behavior Analysts and Case Managers to deliver exemplary services to all students served at Spaulding.
  • An interdisciplinary approach with medical staff, academic staff, residential staff, and other related service providers to produce positive outcomes for children and youth who are from hard places and have experienced significant trauma and neglect.

There are opportunities to work with a variety of clinical presentations that include  children with emotional and behavioral disorders, intellectual disabilities, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and children with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Based on Caseloads, Clinicians may also be assigned a brief family therapy assignment (6-8 sessions) with the possibility of extension if appropriate.

Education & Experience:

  • Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or other related degree
  • State of NH Clinical Certification/License preferred, or must be Licensure eligible
  • Experience working with the Department of Children Youth and Families or within a residential treatment facility is a plus, but not required
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products, computer skills, etc.

Requirements:

  • A strong desire to make a difference
  • Positive communication skills are essential
  • Report writing, excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Flexibility, ability to work autonomously and with a stellar team
  • Client transportation, as needed
  • Attendance at court hearings and other meetings as they pertain to each case
  • NH Driver’s license is required.
