Physical Therapist Assistant

Spaulding Academy & Family Services has a great opportunity for a dynamic and creative Physical Therapist Assistant to join our full time, year round program. Our school features small classroom sizes for our students whose ages range from 4 to 21. Manager and peer support, as well as wrap around services such as OT, PT and SLP’s all contribute daily to working towards the most successful outcomes for our students who have both educational and behavioral challenges.


Spaulding Academy & Family Services is a leading provider of educational, residential, therapeutic and community based programs and services for families, and children and youth with neurological, emotional, behavioral, learning or developmental challenges, including Autism Spectrum Disorder and those who have experienced significant trauma, abuse or neglect. We are located on over 500 acres in Northfield, NH and welcome boys and girls from around the state of New Hampshire and beyond.


Requirements for the Physical Therapist Assistant role includes:

  • Physical Therapist Assistant licensure in NH.


Skills Required:

  • Ability to provide Physical Therapy to students with a wide range of disabilities ages 4-20 under the supervision of the Physical Therapist
  • Knowledge and skill with students having medically intense but stable needs
  • Physical Therapy data collection and reporting
  • Ability to collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
  • First Aid and CPR
